Adults, Kids ages 7+, Players & NonPlayers!

Setup & Teardown

Assisting in setup of event, including:
– Water Drums/ Ice coolers
– Food Vendor area
– Facility/Fields
– Other event related tasks

Facilities

Assisting in event, including:
– Refilling Water Drums and ice coolers
– Moving Equipment
– Picking up garbage
– Other event related tasks

Teardown

Assisting in cleanup of event, including:
– Packing equipment
– Loading storage pod
– Cleaning up garbage
– other related tasks

Opening Ceremony

Setup for Opening Ceremony, including:
– A/V equipment setup
– Banner/Backdrop/Signage Setup
Ushering attendees and teams
Handing of meal tickets at the end

Registration & Help Desk

– Checking participant ID & providing registration materials
– Manning facial recognition stations
– Directing participants & guests
– Selling swag
– Providing general information about Umoja Games
– Collecting donation pledge cards

– Taking and posting of pictures, videos, boomerang to Social Media
– Monitoring “Umoja Family” whatsapp group and transfer good quality pics to Social Media
– Interviewing players, parents, and fans to post on social media channels and Umoja Games website

Scoring & Website

– Updating website and social media channels of scores and standings
– Updating scoreboard with latest results
– Maintaining referee game sheets
– Assisting conflict resolution team

Game Officials

– Field setup – goals, corner flags, benches, etc.
– Soccer equipment prep (e.g. soccer balls, pinnes, etc.)
– Referee liason – maintaining game sheets, rules, etc.
– Ensure games are started on time

Medical

– Making sure ice coolers are filled
– Manning the first aid table
– Making sure teams have enough first aid equipment
– Preferred individuals with some health care related knowledge and or experience

Gala Dinner

– Set up
– Ushering and guiding guests
– Clean up
– Other related tasks

Closing Ceremony

Setup for Closing Ceremony, including:
– A/V equipment setup
– Banner and backdrop
– Trophies & Awards
Ushering attendees and teams
Handing of meals at the end

TODDLERS

– Organizing children ages 3-6
– Setting up the toddler field
– Handing out toddler kits
– Setting up Toddler Showcase on Sunday Aug 4th
– Coordinating with trainers
